Call for CCMA Silent Auction Items

The Howard Bowers Fund Silent Auction at CCMA is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Funds raised through the auction allow us to continue serving and supporting the co-op community. We invite you to make a donation to this year's auction. Contributing to the auction is not only a great way to support the community we all love, but is also a great way to advertise your co-op!

Donated items in the past range from co-op t-shirts, reusable bags, gift baskets, and "swag" items, to a vacation getaway and complimentary registrations to the top conferences. Consider a donation that showcases your co-op, and we'll be proud to advertise it on social media.

Make a donation today by creating a Submittable account and completing the donation form! Silent auction items are due on June 2. Be sure to include how you'd like to arrange delivery, as well as a photo so we can promote your contribution and co-op! With your support, we are committed to continuing the necessary work of the Howard Bowers Fund.

About the Howard Bowers Fund

Supported by the food cooperative community and guided by the fifth and sixth cooperative principles to promote education, training, and cooperation among cooperatives, the Howard Bowers Fund invests in the professional growth and development of food cooperative staff and board members with bi-annual grants and scholarships. The Fund provides training and education grants and scholarships to professional conferences for food cooperatives, sponsorship of education conferences for food cooperative boards and staff, and development of educational materials relevant to food cooperatives. Applications for the 2020 Fall grant cycle must be submitted by September 15, 2020 by visiting cdf.coop/bowersfund.
