COVID-19 Protocol
Prior to arrival: Be sure to pack your COVID-19 vaccination card or proof of a negative test result taken within the last 72 hours. Self-certify your health before visiting. Confirm that you have no temperature (100.4 or above) and are not exhibiting any symptoms. If you are experiencing any symptoms, please stay home.
Once you arrive: Once you step off the elevator, complete the screening process and have your temperature scanned. Entry may be denied based on results of screening (100.4 or above). After the temperature scan, proceed to the gate where a staff member will verify your vaccination card or negative COVID-19 test result.
Mask required: The District of Columbia requires anyone over the age of two (regardless of vaccination status) to wear a mask in all indoor spaces, except when actively consuming food or drink.
Practice proper hygiene and sanitation including hand washing and the use of touchless hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the National Press Club in accordance with CDC recommendations.
Contact a member of our staff immediately if you observe any individual exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms while on site, or if you become aware of any individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of being at the National Press Club.
