Co-op 5k draws participants from across the U.S.

Co-ops and cooperators from coast to coast are lacing up their sneakers and cranking up the music on their headphones in preparation for the Virtual Co-op 5k. From Sunkist in California to Cabot in Vermont, co-op employees, families and friends are signing up to participate in the virtual Co-op 5k . On the week of September 29 – October 2, a record number of teams will compete for such recognition as "Fastest Team" and "Team Spirit". There's still time to sign up a team or join as an individual runner.

Contribute to the Co-op 5k playlist by sending your recommendation of a song(s) that captures that "better together" spirit and a beat to get the move on. If your song is selected for the playlist, you will receive a pair of Twin Pines Socks.

About the Co-op 5k

The Co-op 5k is a fun, family friendly event held each October to kick off Co-op Month. It serves as a major fundraiser for the Cooperative Development Foundation. Funds raised through the event support cooperative development nationwide and allows CDF's Disaster Recovery Fund to continue without overhead costs allowing every dollar donated to the Fund to go out to cooperatives in need.
