John Holdsclaw IV joins CDF Board of Directors

John Holdsclaw IV, Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, National Cooperative Bank, joined the Cooperative Development Foundation board of directors in December. Holdsclaw was appointed by the CDF board.


"I am delighted to welcome John Holdsclaw to the CDF Board. John is a wonderful professional who embodies the cooperative values. He brings tremendous finance, nonprofit, and community development experience to our board. John’s passion for using the cooperative business model to enable communities to realize positive economic and social change and his two decades of experience in financial community development make him an ideal candidate. There is no doubt that John is a tremendous asset to CDF," said CDF Board Chair Rich Larochelle.


Holdsclaw fills the vacancy left by Chuck Snyder, CEO, National Cooperative Bank. Snyder passed away on November 6, 2021.


Also serving on the CDF Board are: Richard Larochelle, National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (retired); Larry Blanchard, CUNA Mutual Group; Cornelius Blanding, Federation of Southern Cooperatives; Devin Fuhrman, Nationwide Insurance, Christina Jennings, Shared Capital Cooperative; Linda Tank, CHS Inc.; Deb Trocha, Indiana Cooperative Development Center; and Judy Ziewacz, NCBA CLUSA (retired).
