Cooperative Leaders and Scholars Institute Applications Now Open
The Cooperative Leaders and Scholars Institute (CLSI) is now accepting applications for its 2020 cohort. The Institute is October 5 - 10, 2020 in Washington DC.
CLSI is an opportunity for young co-op employees, board members, or post-secondary students to participate in a national cooperative conference and gain exposure to co-op industry and thought leaders, policymakers, and other key stakeholders.
Over the course of the program, CLSI, participants will:
Meet and engage with peers at CLSI orientation and community dinners
Participate in a one-day, pre-conference course on cooperative management from Saint Mary's University on October 6
Attend the full Co-op IMPACT Conference from October 7 - 9
Have access to networking sessions with cooperative mentors, thought leaders, policymakers, and other key stakeholders
Attend the Cooperative Festival Reception on the National Mall on October 9
Participate in the Co-op 5K (optional) on the morning of October 10.
Participants also receive a $500 travel stipend and shared accommodation at Marriott Metro Center in Washington, DC.
