CoBank Donor Advised Fund partners with NDSU Foundation and SDSU Foundation

The North Dakota State University Foundation was awarded a $250,000 multi-year grant from the CDF administered CoBank Donor Advised Fund to support the Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives. Established in 1992, the Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives conducts, promotes, and coordinates university education and research on cooperatives; strengthens cooperatives’ operations; and works toward expanding employment and economic opportunities through cooperatives.


The CDF Board also approved a $100,000 grant to the South Dakota State University Foundation to support SDSU’s AgrAbility and Tribal Local Food program on the Pine Ridge reservation.


The CoBank University Giving Fund is a donor advised fund administered by the Cooperative Development Foundation that provides grants and contributions to university programs that support research, development or coursework that strengthen U.S. agriculture, cooperatives, agribusiness, and rural infrastructure.
