In This Could Be Ours, author Jon Steinman brings together 270 images of consumer-owned grocery stores from across the US and Canada. The photobook is designed to help inspire and support community efforts to develop consumer owned food co-ops.

A Worker-Owned Cooperative Tries to Compete With Uber and Lyft

The Drivers Cooperative, founded by a former Uber employee, a labor organizer and a black-car driver, opened for business in New York City in late May. With around 2,500 drivers, the co-op plans to take a smaller commission than their competitors and charge a lower fee for ridership.
