Co-op Education Fund Deadline Oct. 1, Food Co-op Applicants Encouraged

Food cooperatives looking for support to fund board and staff training are encouraged to apply for funding from CDF's Cooperative Education Fund by October 1. In 2020, the Co-op Education Fund assumed the assets of the Howard Bowers Fund for Food Cooperatives as well as a commitment to fund eligible food cooperative trainings and education materials.

The Co-op Education Fund also supports education activities of other cooperative sectors, including cooperative research, sponsorship of cooperative education events and scholarships, and development of cooperative education materials and programs. The Fund provides $90,000-$100,000 in grants, scholarships, and sponsorships annually. For more information go to https://www.cdf.coop/cooperative-education.
