Irene

Grants given for Hurricane Irene

CDF awards its first three grants to assist cooperatives devastated by Hurricane Irene. Brattleboro Food Co-op; Deep Root Organic Co-op, a 14 member farm cooperative based in Johnson; and Arethusa Farm, a worker owned organic farmer co-op in Burlington, will each receive $5,000 to assist with damages.
