• $75,000 in 2003 to Davis Senor Housing Co-op to build a 60-unit housing co-op for low-income seniors in Davis, CA. Eleanor Roosevelt Senior Housing Cooperative opened in January 2007.

• $100,000 in 2003 and 2005 to Stonewall Communities to build a senior housing co-op in Boston.   This was converted to a grant in 2009 as the project became unfeasible due to the collapse of the housing market.
• $136,600 in 2004 to CSI Support & Development Services to build, with the Detroit Catholic Pastoral Alliance, a low-income senior housing co-op in Detroit. CSI and DCPA are revitalizing the Gratiot Woods neighborhood and the co-op is a major component of this effort. Several lots formerly occupied by grass, weeds, and abandoned houses now look like this:
