Steve Thomas came to CDF having led several different nonprofit organizations. His work with entrepreneurs led him to CDF in 2008, where he hopes to grow the cooperative community and, in doing so, help people have a stake in their future and improve their own lives.

Ellen Quinn taught English as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zaire, now again the Congo. In Washington she worked for the National Geographic Society, trade associations, and the SUSTAIN project housed at the National Cooperative Business Association, before joining CDF in 1996.

Terence has spent a large period of time in the philanthropic sector, first as an Intern with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and later with the American Heart Association. His background and studies in sociology motivated him to find solutions to the stresses that plague our society and has found CDF to be one such engine that does so.
