In the spirit of cooperation, the following groups work with the Cooperative Development Foundation to advance senior initiatives. They are:

Rural Cooperative Development Centers

  • Northwest Cooperative Development Center — The center assists with development to help build business ownership, sound management and economic health in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii. The center is supported through fee-for-service income, grants and donations.

Organizations

  • National Cooperative of Health Networks — Is a membership association of health networks and strategic partners. Its focus is supporting and strengthening health alliances through collaboration, networking, leadership development, and education.
  • Direct Care Alliance — Is the national advocacy voice of direct care workers in long-term care. It empower workers to speak out for better wages, benefits and training, so more people can commit to direct care as a career.
  • Institute on the Future of Aging Services — Is the research institute within the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
