The following organizations have received MSC Fund grants from the Cooperative Development Foundation to develop co-op projects that aim to enhance the quality of health care for seniors.

- $20,000 to Direct Care Alliance, the national network of direct care workers, to work with Cooperative Care to develop a credentialing program for co-op direct care workers and to develop a marketing strategy for co-op care workers

- $15,000 to Direct Care Alliance, the national network of direct care workers, to develop a toolkit and on-line resource for and to train direct care workers

Maryland Assistive Technology Cooperative – Columbia, MD
- A $16,000 grant was awarded to expand its outreach to more rural counties; expand training of volunteers and support staff at local hospitals, home care agencies, and assisted living facilities; and encourage co-op buying to reduce costs to seniors.

The Hospital Cooperative – Pocatello, ID
- A $16,000 grant was awarded to develop educational materials for seniors that address preventing falls and medication errors and making homes safer and to develop training modules to prepare hospital-based health educators to teach seniors about these topics.
Maryland Assistive Technology Cooperative – Columbia, MD
- $17,775 to Maryland Assistive Technology Cooperative to educate seniors and their families about affordable assistive technology devices
Circle of Life – Bellingham, WA
- $14,000 to Circle of Life, a home care cooperative in Bellingham, WA, to educate seniors and their communities about the advantages of cooperative home care

Circle of Life – Bellingham, WA
- $15,252 to Circle of Life, a home care cooperative in Bellingham, WA, for a market analysis and strategic planning to establish the organization as a home care co-op

The Hospital Cooperative – Pocatello, ID
- A $12,000 grant was awarded to improve patient care by providing training to management and staff of the 13 rural nonprofit hospitals, clinics, and long-term care units that are members of the cooperative.
Cap Services – Stevens Point, WI
- $27,830 to CAP Services in Stevens Point, WI to collect and put on their website resources for home care development

- A $20,000 grant was awarded to support the merging of two parish nursing programs into a cooperative to allow for the governance, joint administration, and coordinated delivery of educational services in a rural community.
