NCBA Fund
The NCBA Fund supports the National Cooperative Business Association’s cooperative development projects and programs in the U.S. and overseas.
Sample Projects and Accomplishments:
• Gave $10,000 for the Cooperative Development Forums, annual meetings of co-op development practitioners from all sectors to learn about co-op management techniques and issues facing co-ops.
• Helped the Federation of Southern Cooperatives create a three year strategic business plan to help them successfully eliminate the root causes of poverty and exploitation in more than 200 of the poorest communities in the United States.
• Gave over $158,000 to NCBA for the Emerging Coop Leader program.
• Supported the 2006 Coop Leadership Summit with $8,000.
• Gave $5,000 in general support to the Federation of Southern Cooperatives/LAF.
• Invested $2,000 in a cooperative health clinic in El Salvador.
• Supported NASCO with $1,000 for their youth ICA delegation to stop in Japan to visit cooperatives there.
• Gave $21,500 to NCBA for its cooperative health project
